greetings from 4 diamond ranch,
The crew here is thrilled to start sharing our Montana raised, grass fed Wagyu. The beef that you’re going to eat is the product of years of hard work and steady craftsmanship, and we’re grateful that you’ve made room for us on your dinner table.
Since joining 4 Diamond as the Ranch Manager over a decade ago, I have strived to do right by our land, our cattle, and our community. Early on I focused on building soil health and selecting our herd to be best suited for the climate in the Shields Valley. Years later, after looking at ways to share and elevate what we have here at the 4 Diamond (green grass, blue skies, and clean water), we decided to layer in Wagyu genetics, a breed renowned for its richness and tenderness. Today, we’re proud to be one of the only producers in America offering grass fed and grass-finished American Wagyu.
As we build this business and learn more about you, our extended community, we promise to deliver on 4 values:
1. Craftsmanship: Every element of our Wagyu is thoughtfully raised and refined. Nothing rushed, nothing ignored, always conscious of how each decision impacts our land and our cattle.
2. Integrity: We’ll tell you exactly how we raise the cattle and why it matters.
3. Excellence: We produce flavorful, expertly crafted beef with nothing to hide and everything to offer.
4. Responsibility: We have a responsibility to be good neighbors and stewards to this land while producing nourishing and delicious beef.
Thanks for trusting us to feed your family. We plan to share the “what and why” of raising cattle and producing beef through occasional letters like this one, and we hope to hear from you too. You can reach us at wagyu@fourdiamondranch.com or on Instagram @fourdiamondranch.
With gratitude from all of us at the ranch,
Jim Willis, Ranch Manager
